Ideas for Summer Adventures in National ParksThe Minister for Climate Change and the Environment, Frank Sartor is encouraging the community to visit NSW’s National Parks this summer.

“The NSW Government has more than doubled the number of national parks since 1995, which means there’s twice as many great summer adventures to be had,” Mr Sartor said.

“So if your family hasn’t visited a National Park recently, now is a great time before the school holidays end.”

A cool day out for everyone

A cool day out for everyoneAs I lace up the black and red rental ice-skates a wave of nervous energy washes over me.

What if I can’t do it? What if I skid clumsily across the ice, arms flailing or worse still, what if I fall flat on my back unable to get back up on my feet?

As these thoughts race through my mind I carefully make my way over to join the kids at the edge of the ice rink.

Ice-skating had long been on the kid’s list of must do things, so when the school holidays rolled around Erina Ice Arena was our first port of call.

Located at Erina Fair Shopping Centre, the arena is a world class, Olympic-sized ice-skating facility.

Thankfully we had opted to invest an extra $3 per child on top of our admission price to have a lesson with one of Erina Ice Arena’s friendly staff.
