Central Coast surfer carves it up at Roxy ProCentral Coast surfer Amee Donohoe has advanced to the third round of the Roxy Pro in inconsistent waves at Snapper Rocks on the Gold Coast.

It is a great start to the 2010 season for the MacMasters Beach surfer who returns from a knee injury.

Donohoe placed second in her opening heat of the season behind Hawaii’s Melanie Bartels.

Coast surfer shines among surfing eliteCentral Coast surfer Dane Atchison has eliminated American ASP World Tour surfer Tanner Gudauskas in one of the biggest upsets of the Breaka Burleigh Surf Pro on the Gold Coast.

The Avoca Beach board rider placed second behind Queensland’s Noah Lane to advance to the third round of the international competition.

Coast surfer dominates day two of Oakley Junior ProCentral Coast surfer Troy Skillin was impressive today during his round-two heat of the Oakley Pro Junior on Queensland’s North Stradbroke Island.

The Gorokan teen finished second in his heat to top seed Mitch Crews of Currumbin, advancing through to the next round.

In a nail biting encounter Skillin caught his second of two scoring waves with less than ten seconds remaining on the clock to register a combined two-wave heat total of 10.95, eliminating Western Australia’s Shaun Howe by less than half a point (10.75).
