Police have charged a man for crashing a stolen car with his wife and child on board during a high speed pursuit on the Central Coast.
 
The man allegedly led police on a high speed chase along the streets of Kariong on Friday night before crashing his Holden Commodore into a tree.

The 38-year-old man ran from the scene, leaving his wife and 11-year-old son in the car.
